For Pam Hicks, and all of the mothers of the murdered 8-year-old boys, the tragic anniversary is difficult. Hicks has vowed to move on in a unique way.

"When you look at the heavens, [I] think of him because his eyes are blue," said Hicks.

Hicks stood at her son Stevie Branch's gravesite. He and two other 8-year-old West Memphis cub scouts were discovered murdered in a wooded area near their homes 20 years ago.

"This year has been the toughest year for me," said Hicks.

Hicks went to court hoping to get her son Stevie's belongings held in evidence. She did not receive it.

Hicks does not believe the so-called West Memphis Three committed the murders.

"I'm still about the truth. I want the truth. The public don't know the truth," said Hicks.
