Southland Greyhound Park distributes more than $60,000 to City of West Memphis, state of Arkansas | Business

On behalf of Southland Park Gaming and Racing, President and General Manager Troy Keeping has distributed more than $66,000 in funds generated by greyhound racing to local officials.

The state of Arkansas received a little more than $38,000 of the donation - these funds are to be credited to a higher education institution in Crittenden County.

In addition, 25 percent of that donation will go to ten municipalities in the state.

West Memphis Mayor received two check equaling more than $6,000 from Southland to be used for the city.
