'West of Memphis' out in limited release Dec. 28 | News

The director known for the biggest hit last weekend at the box office, is spending a lot of time talking about his next project based in the Mid-South.

Peter Jackson directed the hit film,The Hobbit, based on the classic children's book.

Now he is turning his attention to a film he produced about the West Memphis Three.

Jackson's film West of Memphis chronicles the 18 year fight of the three teens accused of murdering three 8-year-olds in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Jackson has been featured in the Wall Street Journal among many other notable publications this week.

The film comes out in limited release in two weeks on December 28.
