The discussion continues on the $1 billion steel mill project that could come to the Mid-South.
Arkansas senators spent hours this week debating on what the state stands to gain by investing in the mill planned for Osceola.
Governor Mike Beebe told the Senate that he's confident the project would be a success.
Mill developers promise it will employ more than 500 people earning salaries of more than $75,000 a year.
The factory would employ $2,000 construction workers while being built.
